Venture into the untamed heart of southern Italy on an extraordinary cycling odyssey through Calabria - an authentic, little-explored region where rugged mountains, alpine forests, and pristine beaches converge between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas. Home to Italy’s largest concentration of National Parks—Pollino, Sila, and Aspromonte—this wild frontier offers cyclists challenging climbs and world-class routes framed by breathtaking alpine vistas and centuries-old artisan traditions. Each stage reveals striking contrasts: pedaling beneath Norman castles, ascending dramatic mountain passes, exploring prehistoric caves, gliding past crystal-clear alpine lakes and thunderous waterfalls, weaving through olive groves and vineyards along the Riviera dei Cedri, and swooping down to golden beaches crowned by castles.
